The bloke who wrote the PR copy claims Kisses are:; “A fusion of disco, New Wave guitars and Balaeric beats is as evocative of West Coast ennui as peak period Hockney”
Or maybe I say sure it is except, well except, it is white disco for people who can’t dance so maybe not balaeric. It’s like you’ve heard of dancing all over your problems? Kisses dance along with their problems.
The leader of West Coast based Kisses, Jesse Hivel, claims there is a melancholia to Kisses. Yeah, like a lot of this stuff more disturbed but distraught, and still the Electric Sunset remix. which seems to be in the process of soaring before it changes its mind, uplifts you despite itself.
