The last time I saw Cyndi Lauper was a "True Colors" gig featuring B-52s and the Pretenders, neither of whom are here to represent for transgendered, homeless teens. Not getting behind homeless transgendered teens is the moral equivalent of of kicking puppies or drowning Helen Bach's stupid goldfish… who she went off in the midst of Hurricane Sandy to rescue from her office. Well, maybe not the latter.
Cyndi's December 8th Beacon Holiday show (the day after Jingle Ball: from excess to distaff) is… well, I can't wait to see my very favorite American Idol star, Adam Lambert, that's for one thing. And for another, well I guess I couldn't hide from Sarah MaLachlan all my life though God and transgendered teens everywhere know I have tried.
