It sez here New Build are a band from London, don featuring Al Doyle (Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem) Felix Martin (Hot Chip) and with studio engineer Tom Hopkins.
Which means we have now gotten two new bands from the remnants off LCD (Fall On Your Swords -well, actually they were around before but whatever) and all on DFA records.
I've heard one song by em (so have you -it's below), and it reminds me of, well, Hot Chip + LCD, though a touch subdued. Still, the news that they are playing mercury Lounge makes this yet another must see concert. Tuesday, March 13th, 2012. At 7pm.
Tix go on sale on Friday and 12p and no presales I can see, so you and your luck but definitely worth the attempt.
