Musicians United For Safe Energy (MUSE)

Jackson Browne, Bonnie Rait, Daryl Hall collectively created MUSE most noted for the "No Nukes" concerts at Madison Square Garden.

Now?  Well theyre back only this time as rally for Japan.

Set for Sunday, Aug. 7 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., the concert will also feature performances by John Hall, Doobie Brothers, Jason Mraz, Tom Morello, Kitaro, Sweet Honey In The Rock, Jonathan Wilson and more.  Just safely think the 70s come alive and there ya go.

"The disaster in Fukushima is not only a disaster for Japan. It is a global disaster,” Jackson Browne said. “We come together now across cultural boundaries, political and generational boundaries, to call for changes in the way we use energy, and in the ways we conduct the search for solutions to the problems facing humanity. We join with the people of Japan, and people everywhere who believe in a non nuclear future.

The concert gets underway at 3 p.m with children ages 10 and under admitted free on the lawn as long as they’re accompanied by a ticketed adult.  Thats also child abuse.
