I tend to agree. I mean who else? Doesn’t Katy Perry’s “California Gurl” sound awful dowdy and old fashioned. How much longer can Timbaland wheel out them beats. Legendary six years, but he has been treading water since his first solo album.
The Gaga album is too old, the B.o.B. not Summery enough… Eminem is a drag, Jay-Z is idling on standby… Rihanna sucks, MIA too arty… if Diplo could release that “RudeBoyz” mash up of the two, well, it would stand a chance. Maybe with the right vid Ke$ha can dropping something off Animal. Drake? Not from what I’ve heard… Plus it is getting kinda late -it takes weeks for a song to assert itself as a keeper.
