I finally weakend and finished off the Black Key’s Brothers and i can hear why the Black Keys think they are genius, but I don’t think they are any better but than their best songs however gopod those best songs might well be. Brooklyn’s Kaiser Cartel’s Secret Transit may be better than the sum of its parts, in its own low key way. They are playing playing a release date at 7pm on June 8th at Joe’s Pub.
On the downside album wise is Treats though I am still listening to LCD and having gotten round to buying their first album, and it is really really good.It is five years old but worth effort -not embroynic in front, just a smart indie bloke dealing in dance. Lyric could be a touch sharper.
Beach Fossil works better as single tracksbut it is still pretty good, marina and the diamonds is a bit rough and the Hold Steady didn’t hold my attention for all that long.
