Some bands tour and do an entire album live. Its dumb. If I wanted to hear that in sequence.. I would play the album.
Leave it to the fantastic Motion City Soundtrack to one up that performing 4 studio albums, I Am The Movie, Commit This To Memory, Even If It Kills Me, and My Dinosaur Life – during a series of shows ranging from Los Angeles to New York with a few stops in between.
I am a huge fan of My Dinosaur Life but hmm 4 albums in entirety? This is either a tribute to unoriginally or a brilliant idea. I guess it could get tedious writing up a set list. I don't want to come down to hard on this band. I really like them and first saw them open for Panic! At The Disco on the Honda Civic Tour, how long ago was that? Hmm I think 2007?
Anyway catch them if you can and there will be no surprises at all. Just read the cd liner notes- unfortunately there is also no fast forward button.
