Page Six reported on Friday that Mick Jagger had formed a supergroup with Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, A.R. Rahman and Damian Marley. Smells like World music.
Mick's solo career is better than given credit for, certainly superior to his output with the Stones in about the same time period. She's The Boss was pretty good disco and while Goddess In The Doorway wasn't but the Alfie song "Old Habits die Hard" was fabulous.
"The Very Best" compilation a coupla years ago may have relied a touch too much on the remix, still a good four songs have survived and even prospered.
The supergroup have been in the studio, have filmed a video and are shopping the album around. I must admit, Marley and Rahman? Kinda intriguing right?
