Don’t be hating on me but MGMT is just a bucket of OK. They’re not better than sliced bread. They’re a good alty band of boys with fro’s who made some unique sound, scored a hit and well .. have ridden that wave of sass ever since.
Now I did a bit of checking and I found out something pretty interesting… MGMT has been together as a band sicne 2004. When those fresh faced Wesleyan University kids hackeysacked their way around campus in Middletown CT. The darlings of Spin and all the other coolzvilles.

So lets see 4 years later they’re releasing a teaser.. for a documentary…
For what? Four years of their career? This is the most self important move ever.
They’ll make it arty (as you can see below) but who really cares? OK OK this is what you look like when you record, ooo look hes drinking Poland Springs water!
