Each And Every Avenue

Every Avenue has been around since about 2003.
Somehow this band got tangled up in the whole pop punk movement and in my opinion really don’t belong there.
About to embark on the Fearless Friends Tour, EA, should be leading the pack.
But they aren’t.
Supporting Mayday Parade and Breathe Carolina Every Avenue is positioned again, right below the great.
A band that can potentially own the pop charts with the song “Tell Me I’m a Wreck”, a song every guy has sung in their head;
“Remember on my 21st birthday
You took me where we went on our first date
We stayed till closing time, after 4 glasses of wine
You started with a pointless argument
You said that I forgot to compliment
The dress you wore that night
That I’ve seen a thousand times
But I think we just want different things
I want space, you want a diamond ring
Whatever made you think we were meant to be?”
See and this is what should and will hopefully set them apart.
In a genre where every boy is whining about his heart and how they long for love, these guys are saying
‘uh…no’
Not quite a mans perspective but almost a lecture hall logic for the teen aged girl fan base they tour to.
Listen up girls just we may not be that into you… but lets hang anyway.
Refreshing, no?
I’m really looking forward to seeing them tomorrow and to sit down and find out exactly what they think about the genre they’re tucked into.
Fearless Friends Tour kicks off tomorrow October 13 in Hartford CT
I get um first.
