MFT 11-30-11

1. 15 To 20 – The Phenomenal Handclap Band – Counting their money on a sing song nursery rhyme or rap, depending upon your mood. Pretty addictive.

2. Clint Eastwood – Gorillaz – Off their new singles collection. You know my antipathy towards  Gorillaz, right? This song is an exception.

3. What I be On feat Fabolous – Speaking of antipathy, I still haven't forgiven Songz for his performance at MSG opening for Mariah Carey, New Year's Eve 2009. Still, ANYTHING Fabulous is on improves all things surrounding it. This is a good song. H.A. if not H.A.M.

4. Cherub – Smashing Pumpkins – We all know how it went South for Corgan: his drummer OD'd and then he KO'd his rhythm section. This is way before that, of course.

5. Guns Of Brixton – Jimmy Cliff – Well, well. A Clash cover. I bet Paul's happy.

6. White Chrismas – Lady Gaga – White snowman. White Snowman?? WHITE SNOWMAN!!! As opposed to?

7.  The Hardest Ever – Will. I . Am – I am a BEP fan, but that doesn't mean there is any excuse for this crap?  And if Mick Jagger wants to guest on a song, why not do something?

8. The End – The Lower 48 – States i'm guessing. Very melodic indie folk.

9. Christmas Eve With You – Lindi Ortega –  "You're the burning ember of this bitter cold December…" Now that's Season song writing.

10. You Da One – Rihanna
