If you go to the Metallica store website, you will see ‘Next Week’ below a picture of the famous board game Monopoly ,… version Metallica.
But little is known about the Metallica collector edition of the game, the box just looks decorated with cartoons of James, Lars, Kirk and Robert. The band joins a long list of other musicians and bands that have already released their own version from Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles to The Grateful Dead-opoly and the Kiss-Opoly.
The game will probably follow the principles of the previous ones, you will have to build collections of Metallica’s music and exchange trivia.
I haven’t played Monopoly for about what it seems to be half a century, but may be there will be things like ‘you downloaded Metallica’s music illegally, go to jail’…
