Mayday Parade's Latest LP "Mayday Parade" Reviewed

Mayday Parade is streaming their new album, Mayday Parade, and I love it.  I liked Anywhere But Here, but it was their first full length after Jason left the band so they were transitioning.  Mayday's back and better than ever in this punchy and remarkable third full length album.

"No Heroes Allowed" is outstanding.  The absolutely brilliantly placed guitar solo, the strong lead and backing vocals, flawless drumming, and the thumping bass and rhythmic guitar create a well written song.  There's not a second I don't like, and it's really unique.

"Call Me Hopeless, Not Romantic" is so perfect.  It's my favourite tune on the album.  It feels so natural and shows that Mayday has really truly found their niche.  I love Derek's lower register, and this really shows it off.  The lyrics are so lovely and clever.

"I'd Rather Make Mistakes Than Nothing At All" is fantastic.  I adore it. It's so catchy, and great for dancing around in your bedroom to.  It's addictive with a driving beat and it's so fun.  The amount of energy is just so contagious and I'd love to see them perform it live.

Each song on this album stands out and they all fit together really well.  It's absolutely their best album since "A Lesson In Romantics".  Give it a listen, and go purchase this heartfelt and flawless album also available on Spotify!!
