Bands simply cant break up and be done any longer. Like the friend who says “Im never speaking to you again” and calls two days later, bands break up and never go away.
The splitting halt of My Chem was not a predicted event. Hiatus maybe, but break up? These guys have no other skills, how exactly does one go from arena to unemployment? It takes a hefty dose of ego to even think you can do something like that. The emo boys seemed to have it to the brim- cuz they did just that.
Frank Iero was smart enough to quick toss together some guys to keep playing (and wow them at the Skate and Surf Festival) but the rest of them? Where’d they go?
