In my quest to find this highly recommended song my ears were accosted by the freak like yelp of the horrific Feist. There is no more God awful sound than a pretentious rock bitch. Instant migraine instant fury, instant want to smash heads in with a baseball bat.
That being said I was stoked when I discovered what was actually recommended. 4 minutes and 15 seconds is a long time for a song in my book so you better be doing something pretty outstanding or I'm gonna pause your ass and get on with my life.
The tune is quite simply fantastic. The drumming is more than insane its otherworldly and for every fury nerve ignited by Fest there was an offsetting double time drum beat that soothed the savage beast in me. Thank your lucky stars Cruz I can be unkind. There is a magic to a 'hard rock' band that very few posses. I had forgotten about these guys, there simply is too much too listen to to hang out with me long. The ability to have soft vocals on hard music is one of the best mixes in the world. The subtle harmonies on this one just ooze dark cool and absolutely floored me- its too cool for you. The industrial sounding intro, flawless and suddenly that four minutes and fifteen minutes were the highlight of my morning.
I am so glad this was recommended, its powerful its ballsy and long overdue.
