I saw Martina McBride at the Beacon Theatre last night.
I keep forgetting that she has this AMAZING voice. She came on a few minutes after 8pm and played until after 10pm.
She started the night by talking about how she loved playing the small venues when she was in Boston and wanted to do more of them. She liked the intimate setting and could do more of her favorite songs.
She played songs from her new album “Eleven” and a lot of old songs.
She did a cover of “I never promised you a rose garden”, “First cut is the deepest” by Rod Stewart, and even an Eurhythmics song!
She told stories and made you feel like you were in her living room.
She had everyone up and dancing throughout the 2 hours. It was an amazing night with an amazing performer!
