What’s going on with M.I.A.? I haven’t heard about her for a little while, and the first thing I read something about her, is once again about her obsession of persecution: She is claiming that the Grammys ceremony stole her idea during their Bob Marley homage. What idea? M.I.A. wanted to cover Marley with Sting? Not even close, in a Tumblr post called ‘MIA VS THE SYSTEM, she is simply claiming that the green and yellow squares used as the stage décor during the Marley tribute are a rip off of her own background during a show she did in Australia in January.
She wrote:
‘My ideas came from my life. My set was based on Tamil Hindu temple. Not Bob Marley’… ‘If u wanna see the real thing or get it first, come to a M.I.A. show!’
First of all, her Tumblr, just like any of her websites, is so busy, so moving, trembling with overcrowded colors and unnecessary things that I feel dizzy just by watching it. Then, squares? MIA invented squares? Just like she must have the exclusivity of green and yellow,… two pretty basic colors. She also tweeted:

And I have no idea what she is referring to, the total cost of the Grammys? the cost of that specific scene?
M.I.A. thinks she got robbed? Because everything she has done has been so original! Should we remind her that her biggest success was a sampling of the Clash? As usual, she doesn’t sound credible at all: marrying a billionaire and signing with Jay-Z, a guy which was all over the Grammys, tells a lot about her fight against 'the system'.
