Phantom Part II opened the other night in London to what we in the biz like to call mixed reviews. The title track I have heard and it’s an abomination plain and simple.
Here is Ben Brantley on the musical: “..this poor sap of a show feels as eager to be walloped as a clown in a carnival dunking booth”.
I am gagging to review this dog when it opens on Broadway.
