Lou Reed teaming up with Klipsch

How much do you pay for your headphones? $10, $20? More? What about $399.99? Ridiculous right? But these tiny purple headphones can be yours for this absurd amount of money because they are in fact the Lou Reed X10i Signature Edition Headphones!

The American loudspeaker company Klipsch has teamed up with Reed to bring you this marvelous hi-tech headphones, advertised with the Reed irrefutable declarations:
‘If I hadn't heard rock and roll on the radio, I would have had no idea there was life on this planet.’ and  ‘I have been a fan of Klipsch for eons. I enjoy the beauty of the unhyped bass-the clarity and depth of detail and extraordinary comfort of the headphones. These are my Klipsch. Serious headphones for the serious listener.’

And each package comes with an actual Lou Reed autograph, which probably justifies this monstrous price, as regular Klipsch headphones are sold for $50-70.

Musicians don’t sell albums anymore, according to Blabbermouth, the Metallica-Lou Reed album ‘Lulu’ sold a mere 3,000 units in its second week of release, with a total sales of 16,000, so yeah everything else can be good.
