I blame a certain co-editor for my sick obsession with Art Brut. I stare at them, I love them, I play the same songs over and over until people yell at me.
I want an Art Brut T-shirt and I hate life cuz I had to miss them the last time they were Stateside. They posted, from their facebook a fun song on Soundcloud. Stripped down and plunky its comedic Art Brut at its best.
Some may say the vocals get old quick and I say no way buster this stuff has major staying power and I will be playing thie Pub rock tune over and over until people yell at me, again.
I suppose its Brit pop or some such category but there is an endearing sound to the strings and thump in this one that is very much something to be heard in your local, if you have one, which I don't.
I now aspire to be a hobo.
