1. Reach Up (Papas Got A Brand New Pigbag) – Paul Oakenfold – One of the original DJ superstar, you get the feeling he never pushed a button and sat around for 8 minutes at a Festival. The relationship to either Brown or Pigbag is a little obscure, the drums ain't Grade: B+
2. Detroit – Marcus Miller – One of the great bassist out there, and local talent, overwhelms his own song with hand picked intro – Grade: B+
3. My Dear Machine – Sixpence None The Richer – 90s style pop rock, prettily executed – Grade: B
4. Answer To Me – Colt Ford – I blame Kid Rock for this, I truly do – Grade: B
5. 1901 – Birdy – 50 seconds before they get into the vocals. around 45 seconds too long but that voice is a beautiful instrument – Grade: B
6. Winner – Pet Shop Boy – Another perfect PSB, a mid-tempo ballads that sounds like a sigh – Grade: A
7. Birthday Song – 2 Chainz, Kanye West – Can't compare to Fitty, let alone Macca. It is a disturbing enough though, and Kweezy's best rap this year – Grade: B
8. Go West – Pet Shop Boys – If you buy this on Popart: The Hits, you can save yourself the five minutes of silence at the end of the Very version, which drove me insane for years – Grade: A+
9. Oddsoul – Mutemath – PROGROCK!!! And PROGBLUES – Grade: B+
10. Midnight – M83 – The synth lick that opens this song made them instantaneous stars – Grade: A
