1. The Turns – David Bronson – It's not that this sounds like Cat Stevens circa "The Foreigner: Suite", but rather that the music is absorbed into its DNA (and Bronson has a similar voice), it comes from a simlar place though with the addition of years and years of indie folk rock under its belt – Grade: A
2. Comme Un Garcon – Sylvie Vartan – Like happy skippy French novelty so popular, a fashion label sounds like it was named after it – Grade: A
3. You Have Killed Me – Morrissey – WHy is he opening his set with this? Maybe he's being ironic? Nah, the man doesn't know the meaning of the word – Grade: B+
4. Weirdo – The Vaccines – Catchy song, catchy enough for me to have given up and bought a tix to their January gig – Grade: B+
5. Superhero – Cher Lloyd – One CL song should be added to your songlist for the foreseeable future… but only one – Grade: B+
6. Rock N Roll Attitude – Johnny Halliday – I always thought this was a Gallic in-joke till I saw him live. Now I bow at the altar of Halliday though it is still a rotten song. You can't sing "attitude" like you've got bad fromage up your nostrils. It's not on – Grade: C-
7. The 2nd Law: Unsustainable – Muse – I bet they don't release this as the follow-up to "Magic", apparently they've mistaken themselves for Coheed and Cambria – Grade: B
8. Form Follows Function – Lupe Fiasco – Lupe needs to be have smarter ideas or sound a lot better than this. It's like being lectured by an inane drone (as Howard Cosell once called Felix Unger) – Grade: C
9. Ouija Board, Ouija Board – Morrissey – I like the piano motif – Grade: B+
10. Broken Crown – Mumford And Sons – Just waiting on Sandy Denny to add harmonies – Grade: B
