Listen To Queens Of The Stone Age's First New Song In Six Years: My God Is The Sun

Do you want to listen to a new Queens Of The Stone Age’s song? Who doesn’t, right? Brazilians got the premiere of ‘My God is the Sun’ on Saturday night, as the band was performing at Lollapalooza Brazil in front of a sea of people.

 

The song starts with guitars in full-assault, Josh Homme’s commanding and blasting vocals, and some terrific drumming by their new drummer Jon Theodore from The Mars Volta. It’s as badass and empowering as anything they have done before, with an interesting mood change toward the end of the song. And this is without saying that the title seems to be coming straight from a George Carlin's monologue!

 

The video has been professionally shot and it will certainly please hungry fans who haven’t heard anything new from these guys since their 2007′s Era Vulgaris album. However, they are back with a bang! Watch the video below:
