I have nothing at all against Phoenix. A huge fan? No, probably not. But a small fan, absolutely. Plus I love the French after they translated my Johnny Halliday review. Such a thrill to see my writing in another language. Phoenix album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix was a big hit for them in 2009 and though three years hits me as way too long between albums, I am here to spread the good word (via gigwise who got it off Rolling Stone):" Daniel Glass, the head of the band's record label, Glassnote at a Spotify event in London yesterday. He revealed that he had recently spoken to the band on the phone and that they had spoken of finishing recording the album in Paris.No official release date has been announced but Rolling Stone speculates it may be titled TPC, after new artwork was posted on the band's website."
