I was myspace friended by Legend&Progress, and was excited to listen.
“Breanne” sounds like something right off of a soundtrack for “Harold and Maude”, or some indie film, or “Juno” even. It has a lighthearted feel to it, and is simple yet interesting. I keep on hitting that song repeatedly. Each time I hear it, I like it more.
“ABCs” is adorable and super happy. It could easily be on a children’s show, but the silliness is universal. If you heard this on a little kid show, you’d most certainly sneak it onto your iPod. The chorus is genius and has great plays on words and is my favourite song on his entire page.
“Meant To Be” may be acoustic and a bit slow, but it’s not a song to lull you asleep. The playing, beautiful melody, and wonderful lyrics put together make a great heartfelt song to most certainly keep you up. Finally, an acoustic slow song that doesn’t make my eyelids flutter.
What an outstanding musician and find.
