I am not afraid to admit that I think Lady Gaga is a fraud. Shes smart, damn smart and her love of wayward brains is impressive. Acknowledging insecurity and encouraging self empowerment is a noble thing. I also think she enjoys the sound of her own nasal monotone speaking voice. I cringe every time she speaks.
She advocates for anything pertaining to social outcasts and has created the ‘Born This Way’ movement. From homosexuals to manics her ‘little monsters’ are a rainbow of psychiatric intrigue. Shes a performer. Let’s always keep that in our mind.
I am not against ‘giving back’ and I’m violently opposed to fundraising via the people who need the help most. That is exploitation and to me its repulsive. The ‘#BraveStamp’ campaign is horrific. Want to see Gaga live at the MTV Awards? Want her crap cologne? Make a web page using that tag line and you may be drawn to win a great prize. The catch? You have to solicit funds to support her ‘Born This Way’ bus. Are you fucking kidding me? So her philanthropic act requires funding from her fans? Quit spending money on meat dresses and theatrics and fund your own movement, How dare she rally her little monster minions as a source of revenue.
