17 years after Kurt Cobain's death, his hometown of Aberdeen, Washington comemorated the life of the voice of his generation with a statue of a guitar.
According to contact, "The statue depicts a 2.5 metre Fender Jag-Stang guitar – the model Kurt developed – and was constructed from stone based on a design by local artists Kim and Lora Malakoff."
The quotation on the statue comes from "On A Plain" : "One more special message to go / and then I'm done and I can go home."
I could think of a coupla more apt ones, myself…
