In an all too typical mix of hubris and humility, Kid Rock once said this about his charity endeavors: "I can't stop the war, shelter homeless, feed the poor. I can't walk on water. Can't save your sons and daughters. I can't change the world to make things fair. The least that I can do is CARE." The Kid Rock Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit raising funds for and awareness of local and regional charities helping disadvantaged children, victims of war and natural disasters, and those suffering from illness. "
So, no folks Kid Rock CAN NOT WALK ON WATER. It is oficial. He also owes a favor to all the poor bastards who bought his godawful Born Free.
But, hey, his heart is in the right place. And his upcoming tour will give all proceeds to local charities in the markets he will be playing in which is taking the concept of thinking locally exactly where it should be.
He will be at the Beacon overhere…
