It is worth the time to compare Kelly Clarkson's easy going self-effacement with Chris Martin fale piety masking rabid narccicism.
A few days ago i reported on Martin discussing his new album with New York Times and how he wanted to llast band to make a great album. Every word oozing with self-importance.
Now here is Kelly discussing her contemporaries:with the Guardian: "I want to punch Adele in the face! She is just too good. I saw the BRIT Awards and I was just bawlin', just watching her on YouTube, in a little box this big."
: "Miranda is one of my favourite artists. Have I thought about collaborating with her? Uhh – I might think about it every day! I run into her all the time and I swear to God she thinks I'm stalking her and she hates me. Every time I run into her, usually I'm intoxicated and I'm slurring, 'We need to sing a song!' at her. She says she wants to do it, but every time she has an album coming out, I do too, so we're both too busy. Or she's sidestepping me."
Me? I prefer Kelly to both and I like her. There is something so cool about Clarkson, she is just naturally with it. Plus she has great pipes and a coupla skeletons in her closet.
I like her and I can't stand Martin.
