The VMAs are stupid, at a few exceptions, I can’t stand any of the people performing during the Video Music Award the performances are awful and so I was barely watching the show while continuing working on something, and while being regularly interrupted by Miley Cyrus’ unbearable voice… Can anyone actually tolerate her foghorn? I don’t care if this girl is running naked all the time, she has to stop screaming, my god! Someone remove the mic from her hands, it’s insufferable.
After glancing at many people singing, dancing, talking, it was Kanye West’s turn, he has become totally unavoidable these days and he was receiving some award, given by Taylor Swift by the way, in a all-is-forgiven move (and I vomited a little bit in my mouth in front of so much hypocrite display). Then he started talking, rambling, ranting some ineptitude as he always does:
‘I still don’t understand award shows’… oh you mean all these rants about Beyonce and artistry, that was not caring?
‘I will die for the art, for what I believe in’…But I thought Yeezus had already died for everyone’s sins.
’We’re not gonna teach low self esteem and that to our kids’… Believe me Kanye your work is already done at this level.
‘I don’t know what I’m finna lose after this, but don’t matter though cause it’s not about me. It’s about ideas bro, new ideas bro. People with ideas’… Name one idea you had Kanye, oh yeah I forgot, leather jogging pants!
I know that people are gonna say it was epic, but it was mostly nonsense randomness. Then, out of the blue, he announced he had decided to run for president in 2020… WTF? And why not? Kanye was joking right? I am not sure, I am never sure with him, he takes everything so seriously, he is a bit crazy, I believe so, but when an orange clown is making fun of our presidency, everything is possible and I fear the worst for the future.
