Justin Bieber Announces Retirement And Internet Hysteria Follows

Come on, calm down people, Justin Bieber is not going away! I am still laughing at the news because I would not take anything that comes from the mouth of that kid seriously, he is such a puppet! On Wednesday, Bieber dropped a bomb on Los Angeles popular radio Power 106, during the Big Boy’s Neighborhood show, declaring to the host:

‘After the new album, uh, I’m actually, uh, I’m retiring man, I’m retiring’

The new album ‘Journals’, set to be released on December 23rd on iTunes, is then supposed to be his last!! This would be such good news for music lovers, but I guess Beliebers are going to coming suicide in mass like lemmings  jumping over Norwegian cliffs at the news of the pop star retiring from the music business! I already see the scene, girls crying rivers of tears, tearing up their clothes, going through all the phases of despair, anger and depression. For many unbeliebers like me, I must admit it sounds like a Christmas present, People magazine has already set up a poll ‘Should Justin Bieber retire?’ and has so far received a 92% for a yes, but they have to be kidding right?

Of course I don’t believe for a minute that Bieber isn’t truly retiring, he is too into himself and his career! But is that it? Is that everything we have from the interview? Power 106 FM tweeted a bit later: ‘I want to grow as an artist and I’m taking a step out, I want my music to mature’ – @justinbieber #JustinBigBoy106.’

There are two possibilities, either he is taking a short break to spend more time doing graffiti over hotels’ walls and will come back faster than you can say Usher, or this is just a stunt to get more publicity, because the news conveniently come right on time as a perfect ad for the ‘Believe’ movie, bringing even more attention to the premiere happening the same night in Los Angeles!

It’s clear he is not going away, the guy has a responsibility toward his 47 million Twitter followers and his millions of fans worldwide, his retirement could cause a riot, a massive and collective nervous breakdown, this could start a tsunami, or some catastrophic event of cosmic dimension….
