Just Tell Me That You Want Me' Fleetwood Mac Tribute

Fleetwood Mac were icons of the 70s.  The co-ed rock band personified their genre' bringing post hippy swirl to the masses.  They had some evolution as well, most remembered the flowing fairy of Stevie Nicks.

Say what you will but they had some massive hits and songs that wil llive on for eternity.  They had a perfect combination of strong lyric and musical skill.  There was tons of cool drama and love triangles and scandal too so basically Mac was pretty Mac, if you know what I mean.

They are deserving of tribute and tributed they shall be.  In the upcoming release "Just Tell Me That You Want".  As for those offering up the tribute.. well, not sure who chose the line up. Maybe there was a talent sale- maybe everyone was busy, but it seems  sorta B list.  Then again if you can get Marianne Faithful off the sofa and on the same album as The New Pornographers something has to have clicked.

The first song available is by Karen Elson and Beck.   One of Macs coolest "Goldust Woman"… yet listen to hear how easily a song can be destroyed…
