I was just texting with one o the loves of my life : Marianne O’Hagen. Blah blah blah… right? but she reminded me of the day we sat around taking drugs, drinking and basically acting our age with Jimmy Honeyman-Scott.
The Pretetenders guitarist who died way too young was friends with Marianne. She was working the bar at “The Other Place”on East 39th and 3rd. So Jimmy dropped by. Marianne was drop dead. I was drop dead drunk. Jimmy was getting there.
Thank God for coke.
He was a cool, friendly guy. And a perfect guitarist. Died at 26 years old -tragic
