UK mosaic artist Ed Chapman usually uses hundreds of fragments of ceramic tiles to build his portraits of iconic film and music legends, but this time he used 5,000 multicolor guitar picks to make this amazing Jimi Hendrix portrait.
It was recently auctioned at Cancer Research UK’s Sound & Vision at the Abbey Road Studios and was sold for £23,000.
Chapman had already made a John Lennon piece for a 2009’s event, which was sold for £6,000.
