For more than six decades, Jackie DeShannon has built an enduring career as a songwriter, recording artist, and interpreter of songs.
She wrote “When You Walk in the Room,” co-wrote “Put a Little Love in Your Heart,” and her songs have been recorded by artists including The Searchers, The Carpenters, Annie Lennox, Van Morrison, and Ella Fitzgerald. In 2010, she was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
In 1982, Jackie and Donna Weiss received the GRAMMY® Award for Song Of The Year for “Bette Davis Eyes.”
That songwriting legacy continues with “Willa’s Song,” a new Jackie DeShannon recording released in October 2025.
