It Is Spring Again, So It Must Be Time To Wish Theater At Westbury Was Closer

Ok, first yes, I took the pix, it's my desk at work, my desk is a mess… let's get on with out lives…

Next, every Spring the Theater At Westbury, barely a train ride and a taxi drive away, puts out a full page add with their Spring line up and every Spring I wish it wasn't a train and a taxi ride away!

I have only seen three concerts there.

1. Jerry Lee Lewis And Chuck Berry

2. Smokey Robinson

3. Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick.

But I was younger than and had a couple of ounces of energy left at the end of the day! All three concerts were great, but Jerry Lee was really something.

Also, it is a fabulous room, it is the anti-T5: the gigs are in the round and so every single seat is killer.

This year is pretty good as well (though not quite as good as long year). Oh, and notice Micky's first area performance subsequent to Davy Jones death.

Here's what I would go to…

Friday, April 20th – Smokey Robinson

Saturday, April 21st – Liza Minnelli

Saturday, May 12th – John Tesh

Sunday, May 20th – LeAnn Rimes

Satuday, June 9th – Gladys Knight And Brian McKnight

Saturday, June 23rd – The Turtles and Mickey Dolenz

Sunday, July 8th – Lynyrd Skynyrd
