Innerpartysystem is a dance band that seems to cross over into the rock world a bit more than most. I'm not sure what type of mojo they posses but I certainly don't hate them- on the contrary I find them really entertaining and fun.
Their new video for "Not Getting Any Better", pretty much made me want to vomit. I mean literally. The visual really wonked out my equilibrium, drug free! You have to hand it to a band that can make you sick with a video! That my friends is skills.
So yes yes lots of stop start photography and high techerisms…cute.

Gorgeous is about the only word that covers it- this will be my gym treadmill anthem for along time. Great pseudo strings and just enough techno untz to have a foot strike rhythm. The Mr Roboto lyric is a bit cliche' but aside from that the vocals are just as wonderful as I remember. It's not easy to keep my attention for 8 minutes. I have the attention span of a gnat, yet not once did I want to bail on this one.
I haven't seen this band since they opened for Saosin a few years back, I was stoked then and I am now. I would welcome a tour and soon.
I just think its best not to look if you have any vertigo issues.
