Welcome Back SNL. I can honestly say I havent missed the show at all over the summer break. Yeah, Justin Timberlake and Kanye gave me a couple good moments but over all it was a pathetic hot mess. Void of comedic valud and seemingly draggin on forever, this hour and a half of my life would be better used sleeping.
Arcade Fire was the choice of SNL brass to start up the season and with this single gesture secured their place in my “WTF Are You Thinking” hall of shame. I hate Arcade. The chick Regine makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a broken bottle and Win…no just no. I hate this entire AF movement and honestly it would be a reason for celebration if they would just go away. But instsed the hipster idiots of the world sporting thrift shop mismatch have made this tribe of garbage their leader and SNL in a frantic attempt to secure any crowd through these guys up on my screen. And now I get to throw up watching it.
Desptite the idiotic game show- there was no humour in the first half of the show. I sat there wondering why this is even allowed to go on. Oh and as for the studio audience- are you guys watching something else or just super thrilled to be there cuz 1- its not funny and 2- AF doesnt deserve that big a reaction. Calm down assholes
“Reflektor” is one of the most annoying songs I have ever heard and that wench Regine is right there annoying the hell out of me. What the fuck is up with the mime shit? Who the hell is buying these guys? It;s the emost obnoxious pretentious serving of bullshit I have ever heard. This performance is the epitome of the milleniums and why they suck. May I add that the keyboardist is nearly the biggest nob I have ever watched. Really that dramatic? Sit down bitch.
As for Iman, he has a whole different spin
“Reflektor” is one of the best songs of the year and Arcade Fire owe more than a nod to James Marshall. They perform it well though really those pants have to go and the band fail miserably the cool test. I forgive em because whatever they were in 2011, in 2013 they are everything a great rock band should be except for cute. Man, that is a great song, disco never sounded so good.
