I suppose its similar to those who collect autographs. A signed strip of paper brings such joy to some people and I have never really gotten the hype but then again Im not your average Joe.

First up The Fab Four with a heap of stuff ! Items up for bid include a "first state" copy of the Beatles' Yesterday and Today album featuring the "butcher cover"; an assortment of negatives from the Abbey Road photo sessions; and even a dollar bill autographed by each member of the Beatles.
There are over 450 items up for bid in person or online an not all Beatlemania. There are also guitars signed by Santana, Queen’s Brian May and Jackson Browne, as well as instruments that have been either autographed or played by Elvis Presley, Robert Plant, John Fogerty, Sting and Alice Cooper. Non-instrument items include clothing pieces sported by Aretha Franklin, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, James Brown, Meat Loaf and more.
