I stumbled on a Fidlar song, ‘I wanna be your cocaine’, which does not figure on their ‘DIYDUI’ EP, and this infectiously rhythmed slow-burn is instantaneously enjoyable!
It’s a total killer song, slower and then different from the ones featured on their EP, much darker and rawer, a little more Iggy Pop and the Stooges than their other sunny surf-punk-rock, with powerful chorus-vocals you want to shout with them, and an aggressive rockabilly keyboard drowned in the mix,… a let’s-go-fight kind of song!
I saw them live a couple of times, and they actually played that song, but this is without saying that their beer-Four-Loko-fueled stage energy started a moshing uprising each time.
