Hugh Cornwell New Album , "No More Heroes" Tour

"Cornwell remains a hugely popular and prolific performer

whose songwriting retains its fiery eloquence and
whose gigs still crackle with electricity"

– Classic Rock

Maybe, maybe.

Steve Albini is one of the producers of the Stranglers leaderz upcoming album, Totem And Taboo, and you can be sure that Steve will give Cornwell as much crackle and electricity as humanly possible!

This Autumn, Hugh is touring the UK behind the album and also playing the Stranglers No More Heroes second album. Sure, you won't get "Peaches" but you will get "Something Better Change" and the title track. Will he make it to nyc? Probably, he usually does.

It is hard to imagine now, but the Stranglers were a much loathed band back in the day, considered heavy metal in punk rock new boots and panties: and, it was kinda right. Also considred brutal misogynist which is kinda quaint in this day and age.

I have no problem with playing complete albums, why not, right? Though without Burnel, what's the point, right? Oh, and he promises to bring a keyboard along which, really he has to.
