How To Keep A Hobo Away From Your Venue: Bill Graham Civic Auditorium

Hobo is a great word.  It's so antiquated.  Homeless is the proper word now, sounds so much more tidy.  See if you have no money or no friends couch you have no address, you are homeless and therefore sleep where ever you can find cover.

In San Francisco it seems there was a trend to sack out in the entry ways of the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, tsk tsk.  This sister venue to the infamous Greek Theater was none to please with the less fortunates drooling on their concrete.  They run a respectable establishment, why Pitbull is playing there in August. How awful to have these louse filthing up the facade each evening. VP Mary Conde told the San Francisco Chronicle that the company had received “an enormous amount of complaints” about the 20 to 40 homeless people in Civic Center park across the street.

The Civic Auditorium began blasting a nightly concert of chainsaw, motorcycle and jackhammer sounds, accompanied by an aircraft carrier alarm, to disrupt the slumber plans of the less fortunates.   Thus far, the noise appears to have worked.

This is the same military tactic used by the US in the Panama invasion,  to drive Manuel Noriega out of his home by playing rock music. In this case, APE downloaded industrial noises from iTunes and blasted them from the Civic Center’s outdoor speakers.

Its good to know that all we need to do to get rid of people is to play annoying sounds.  I mean God forbid we doe something as a society to help these people into better solutions.. just get them the hell off my lawn,

I personally would never step foot in the Bill Graham..come to think of it.. this place isn't named after infamous Televangelist Bily Graham.. or is it?
