I admit to not merely being late to Helplessness Blues -what, you say, it isn't due to be released till May 3rd? That's true but things move awful fast and also awful slow these days.
I bought the first single off Fleet Foxes newbie awhile back and was suitably awed and I have been streaming the album since Monday and this is gonna be an alt-folk wowie zowie. It is gonna be a breakthrough the way the Decemberists did with The Crane's Wife. It feels like a major album, like a major artistic statement, like a rock fan crossover this band will change your lifer.
