Helen Bachs First rock Concert… uncool?

I had a really hard time remembering my first real arena style concert. I had to call my sister to fact check.



I know I saw Elton John in the giant glasses days, I remember that vaguely. I know my first ‘cool’ show was the Ramones.. but

According to my big sister….

My first ‘real’ concert was America and Burton Cummings at the Hartford Civic Center in 1977. All I can recall was our seats were way up high and I was afraid to walk down the stairs and alot of pink spotlights.


I also remember sleeping in the back seat of the car on the way home.

There is absolutely NOTHING cool about this at all.
