Wow I totally picked the right concert to see this week. Although Limp Bizkit is headling its Avenged Sevenfold all over the news.
On the heels of their “Nightmare” release, comes the information they will webcast the Saturday 7/31 show from Syracuse. Too bad, I’m going to the Friday show or I’d have found some camera time to flash you some devil horns. The webcast will start at 7pm and you can see it on avengedsevenfold.com.
They’ve been humbled by the loss of ‘The Rev’ back in December. Seems each thing they do now somehow is in gratitude for the support their fans have shown them
“In honor of all the fans around the world who have supported us during this difficult year, and throughout our career, we are excited to announce we are broadcasting a special live concert.” said the band.
They’re still not sure of their future stating although the stand in Portnoy did an amazing job drumming for Nightmare, and is touring with them this go round a more permanent solution has yet to be found. I believe Portnoy is headed back to Dream Theater, once this tour is done.
The band will also be taking over MTV2 this weekend hosting pre recorded ‘Headbangers Ball’ and “Rock The Deuce”.
