Now I have had to drive 2 hours to see this man in a hell pit of a club (no literally it was called Club Hell) when he did his solo stint. Craig has left Chiodos to pursue his efforts with Cinematic Sunrise. To me a totally different sound but meh, suppose we all mature.
Owens has a great voice. A stage presence that is just short of presence. His fans are adoring to say the least. And loyal as hell. When he implored his minions to have a seat with him on the floor of the club to ‘get closer’ and ‘hang out’, they did. I did not.
I don’t sit on club floors. But as I looked out onto the crowd of fans singing along with Owens on guitar, it struck me that whatever he was sending to them was being received loud and clear. I was saddened to hear he had broken ties with Chiodos (whom I adored in their so called prime) and to be honest with you Im not really feeling the Cinematic Sunrise side of it. But alas, despite what I think sometime its NOT all about me.

Owens is very talented. Hes also smart enough to be kind to little pink haired girls who hand him poetry they’ve written for him at the end of their set.
He may want to disassociate himself with Wentz though, not sure where that can take him. BUT associating with the Magpie is good for business.
