I got style miles and miles if said in the wrong context can come off as being a narcissistic jerk bag.
if said in a rather slow speak sing its almost self mocking, or is it?
Pavements “Frontwards” was played last night..one of the first songs of their set.
Appropriate for one of the first songs they’d recorded.
So does it survive time?
Well its the first time I’d heard it so again, bonus its brand new to me. Though it reminded me of a grungy Beck it had a hook I liked
Love the miles and miles line but what the hell is the song about?
I think its just another looking for love in this cold desolate world song, but its repetitive sound makes it not so much feeling groovy as feeling dejected.
Is that Pavements MO?
Not familiar with the band I’m unsure.
I like lyrics that make sense and this gives me about 50% in that so I’m going to give it a C.
Its may be new to me but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard it all before.
