So it may be why Im grooving on my new find, Heavy Young Heathens. First off if you are shallow (as I am, no shame), don’t look. They’re not beast at all BUT .. what a great sound!
A distorted sorta 60s feel. Like some really old STP even.
“Jackie Come Lately” is the video the band has one on MTVU’s Freshmen Video contest. This basically means they’ll get some semi regular rotation on the network… tell me, does YOUR cable company carry MTVU? yeah? mine neither but you can catch this online. Again, don’t let the band distract you from their sound and I will say the video is well done.
