6. Ice Cold Daydream – Shuggie Otis – 1970s r&b guy with a taste for psychedelic guitar breaks, returning to the fold. This oldie shows you why – Grade: A-
7. Provision – Kavinsky – Three years ago I was convinced this guy was gonna break electronica big time, and I see no reason to change my mind here. An anthemic beat heavy beauty with soaring synths – Grade: A-
8. Dogs Eating Dogs – Blink 182 – Awfully ordinary modern rocker – Grade: C+
