The Clash mocked The Jam. I liked them (still do)
There were the intellectuals and the dirty punks and all that Art School nonsense but with songs like "Eaton Rifles" and "Going Underground" there is no doubt that The Jam had a unique sound and a great catchy beat.
Style Council followed up with one of my favorite songs of all time "My Ever Changing Moods", no truer words have been sung.
Today May 25, Weller turns 53. He has the same hairstyle which puzzles me. Weller is still out there flying solo and making news.
Its good to see, but this is one of the artists I would now prefer not to see live. I want to keep him perpetually 25.
